Visual wayfinding
system & event
identity

Main Event is an open day event
organised by SWPS University, bringing
together lectures, workshops, exhibitions
and activities for prospective students.

The main challenge was helping visitors
navigate the space in an intuitive and
stress-free way during a crowded, high-
energy event environment.

The visual identity was built around
the concept of an orange line guiding
participants through the building.

The same line appeared both on printed materials and within the
physical space itself, allowing visitors to simply follow the path
towards workshops, exhibitions and lecture rooms. What started as
a navigational element naturally evolved into the central visual motif
of the entire event identity system.

The project included posters,
signage systems, informational
materials and an event map
designed to support both
orientation and communication
throughout the space.

During the event, I also led a workshop
for prospective Graphic Design students
focused on digital illustration and
creative process development.
The sessions combined practical Adobe
Photoshop techniques with the
fundamentals of visual storytelling.
